Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the 2002 disappearance of Scott in England.

This happened over 20 years ago, actually. Scott vanished on October 10, 2002. He was last seen in North Shields after a night out. He had moved there from Stranraer ten months earlier. Scott was 30 years old then.
Police never found Scott’s body anywhere. Even so, they think he is dead. Detectives are now treating the case as a murder investigation. Things are happening now.
Police arrested three people on Saturday, according to Northumbria Police. Officers are searching a house on Coronation Street in North Tyneside as part of their investigation process.
The three suspects are currently in custody. Detective Inspector Mark Atherton is leading the investigation and wants to give Scott’s family answers. He says they are doing their job.
Atherton said they have arrested two men and one woman because they got new information. He thinks people in the area still have information and urges them to come forward.
Atherton specifically wants to hear from those who lived on Coronation Street because the information could be important. He needs details about Scott on the night he disappeared.
Scott’s family got worried and reported him missing after not hearing from him in days. They live in Dumfries and Galloway, in Scotland. It’s awful they still don’t know what happened.
