Police sent a dog unit to the park. Two men on an electric bike caused chaos, near Everton Park. Police saw them on Scotland Road in Vauxhall around 11:40 PM on Tuesday, February 25.

The bike disappeared, then reappeared near Everton View. The rider left the bike before midnight and ran away. The other man rode the bike onward. He went to Sterling Way, then Smith Street, before crossing Kirkdale Road. He turned onto Jason Street and then right onto Netherfield Road North, almost crashing into someone.

The bike went back to Everton View as police surrounded Everton Park. Roads policing, armed police, and dog units helped search the area. Dog officers subsequently discovered a large knife.

Officers used stop sticks to block exits and detained a man. An 18-year-old got arrested, suspected of dangerous driving, possibly possessing an offensive weapon, and lacking a license and insurance.

He was later arrested for robbery. A teen was threatened with a knife earlier that night on Mount Pleasant around 11:15 PM. He is in custody now as the police investigation continues.
