New two-story building with seven apartments planned near Heaton Park, close to Metrolink stop in Prestwich.

The proposed building has two stories with a total of seven apartments. Four flats will have two bedrooms, while the remaining three will have only one bedroom. The new building backs onto flats on Infant Street.
The area boasts shops, restaurants, and homes. The location is conveniently near the Lime Tree Indian restaurant, and a tram stop is also nearby, approximately 80 meters from Heaton Park tram stop.
The design report highlights the street’s variety, noting old terraced houses on one side and different buildings on the other. The report claims the design involved careful thought, and the project aims to boost Prestwich’s vibrancy.
The plans feature off-road parking situated behind the building. The design aims to separate the new building from neighbors, fostering a sense of space. Bury Council will review the plans soon.
