The iconic “Angry Poo Truck,” a roadside protest on the A494, has been removed after Toyota bought it back.

The “Angry Poo Truck” sat on a container in an industrial yard, elevated high up. Luke McHugh, the owner, put it there after a three-year fight with Toyota over what he thought was a defect in the truck.
Luke couldn’t get Toyota to fix his truck, so he made a public stand. The truck became a landmark for drivers entering Wales, and now that it is gone, people feel sad and some even want it back.
Toyota UK didn’t comment publicly, only stating the matter is now resolved. Luke said the truck pulled to the left, and despite many trips to Toyota dealers seeking repair, he even ended up buying another truck.
He found the truck hard to drive and sell, as it drifted toward the road’s edge. Fixing it cost him £1,000, yet dealers seemed clueless about the problem. This was difficult as his job required long drives.
Luke warned Toyota about his plan to publicly display the truck in protest. He even showed them the location on Google Maps and made a point of decorating the truck for holidays.
Ultimately, Toyota bought back the truck and paid him some money. He’s pleased with the outcome, and people call him a hero online. The truck has since gone to Toyota in Derby.
Many feel sad about the truck’s removal, with one person saying it brightened their day and another mentioning loving the Christmas decorations. People miss the “poop car,” and a child looked forward to seeing it.
The shipping container won’t stay empty. Luke has a garden pod venture involving pods with glazed doors and storage, designed for work or relaxation. He plans to decorate this new venture as well.
Luke called his protest a bizarre experience that took a long time to resolve. He hopes others can address their issues and mentioned he was happy he could continue complaining.
