Major operation targets Anglesey county lines gangs, resulting in arrests and seizure of drugs, weapons, and cash.

Police in North Wales worked with Merseyside Police to stop serious crime in the area. Over three days, police arrested seven people on suspicion of drug crimes. These arrests also involved robbery and assault.
Cops seized cash, cocaine, and ketamine and did many stop and searches too. One person was arrested for driving under the influence. Those arrested were released during the investigation, and the police are still working on the case.
Sergeant Chris Burrow talked about the operation and said they worked with Merseyside Police. They’re removing drugs from the island and helping vulnerable locals by stopping them from being controlled by dealers.
Police found people with drugs, and these folks were sent to Checkpoint, which helps people stop using drugs. Inspector Stephen Morris also made a statement; he’s with Merseyside Police’s Project Medusa, which tackles drug dealing.
Project Medusa and North Wales Police worked together to disrupt county lines drug dealing. They protected people who were vulnerable, and officers arrested people and took weapons, drugs, and cash.
Morris said they found exploited people too and are committed to shutting down these drug lines. They also protect the community, and cooperation can proactively target criminals. He says Project Medusa works with other forces.
