Alsager Railway Station wins the Best Kept Station Gardens award from Cheshire’s Best Kept Stations.

This time, Alsager won for the Best Kept Station Gardens and judges loved their work. They mentioned the great shrubbery and flower beds, noting that wildflowers added to the art.
The station has won awards before, including Best Kept Station in 2015, 2018, and 2023. Nantwich won the overall award in 2024.
Volunteers at Alsager feel very proud and said they were overjoyed with the garden award. They tend the gardens weekly.
The team also works with the community and sometimes, a local school helps. Train companies also help sometimes, as they want more people to join the gardening.
Sam Burton Smith praised the Alsager group, stating that they are committed to the station and their hard work makes a difference. He continued, saying that they welcome visitors to Alsager and they garden in all weather.
