Halfpenny Farm faces closure due to rising costs. A fundraiser aims to save the Inverurie sanctuary and its rescued animals.

They posted a sad message online saying they’re in trouble. Many animal rescues face hard times now due to COVID-19 and rising costs. They used all their savings.
They only take urgent cases these days, and the animals are getting old there. This means bigger vet bills and special diets.
The sanctuary offers volunteer work, helping with Duke of Edinburgh awards. People gain work experience at the farm, and they also help people with social needs. The sanctuary needs £60,000.
They started a GoFundMe page two days ago, and people have donated £8,500 already. Leanne said every donation helps the animals. They asked followers to donate £10 each, as the sanctuary wants to secure its future. This farm means a lot to many beings; please donate if you are able.
