Aberdeen enforces £80 fines for littering and dog fouling starting February 12th with help from National Enforcement Solutions.

Citizens wanted action against dog fouling and litter. So, the city is giving wardens some extra help. Now, they can crack down on offenders more easily. Aberdeen has a deal with National Enforcement Solutions (NES).
Starting February 12, NES can issue fines. This should really help clean up the city. Dog owners, listen up! Forget to clean up after your dog? It will cost you £80.
Don’t pay within 28 days? The fine goes up to £100. Littering isn’t cool. It hurts the environment and wildlife. Plus, dog poop is bad for everyone.
Kids are especially at risk. We all need to help keep Aberdeen tidy. Use bins for trash or take it home yourself. Avoid getting a penalty. It is pretty simple.
The NES team works alongside the City Wardens. They’ll both use tech to give out fines. This applies to litter and dog fouling. Wardens also fine people for fly tipping. Community Safety Officers handle complex cases.
They’ll investigate reports needing deeper attention. Make sure you pay fines on time. Notices explain payment methods and due dates.
