Aberdeen Housing Development Rescued After Collapse Nears Completion

Hey, guess what’s happening in Aberdeen? That housing place, Charleston, is having an open weekend. You know, the one Stewart Milne left unfinished? His company went bust last year. It left several sites in a mess.

This Scottish company, Milestone, took over. They will show off the Charleston houses this weekend. It’s March 1st and 2nd, so soon!

Milestone also rescued another site in Arbroath. People loved Milestone’s Arbroath show home. Folks came from Aberdeen and other places. They will show homes for “modern family living.” The Charleston show home is called “The Farnham.” It has soft greys and warm taupes.

The houses use woven coverings and soft seats. They have natural wood touches too. Deep blues highlight the overall design. The lighting and furniture give a refined look. Open areas let in lots of sunlight. Milestone wants these homes to be practical. They emphasize simple beauty.
