Video mocks “Abermoaners,” urging them to leave Aberdeen. Chamber highlights city investments and future growth.

So, there’s this new video making fun of Aberdeen complainers. They call them “Abermoaners.” The Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce made it, and they want these complainers to just leave.
The Chamber’s head guy, Russell Borthwick, calls them a small group. A report says Aberdeen has a bright future. It shows about £30 billion in investments, including a market and transportation upgrades.
The video uses a comedian, Derrick Thomson, who plays different characters who whine and complain a lot about the Granite City. Some don’t like Union Street shops and some moan about cruise ships and transport.
One lady, like Mrs. Brown, hates the bus gates. Another calls the city’s sign “rusty c***.” They kick him out after he complains about taxis.
Another character thinks Aberdeen is the “a*** end of nowhere.” He gets a one-way ticket on the “Abermoaner Express.” Then, he whines the ticket is too big, and he gets kicked as Borthwick defends the city.
Borthwick says Aberdeen is great and tells people to ignore the moaners. He asks what’s wrong in a strong defense. The Chamber reported £30 billion is coming to Aberdeen.
They say it’s the biggest boom since oil’s start. This report lists big projects planned, and they mention rail upgrades and a new energy zone. Fraserburgh Harbour gets nearly £300 million, and Aberdeen’s beachfront also gets work.
