A$AP Rocky is found not guilty of felony assault after a 2021 shooting in Los Angeles.

Rocky faced over 24 years in prison if convicted. The jury deliberated for about three hours and found him not guilty on both counts. He was accused of firing a gun at A$AP Relli.
Rocky’s lawyer called Relli a liar, claiming he lied under oath repeatedly. The defense said Rocky used a prop gun and allegedly fired blanks from it. The prop came from a music video set.
Rihanna attended the trial many times. She brought their kids to closing arguments. The prosecutor said this was jury manipulation, stating everyone is responsible for actions.
Rocky did not testify in court. Relli testified he was grazed by a bullet on his knuckle, but was not harmed. Rocky rejected a plea deal for six months right before the trial started.
Rocky is set to co-host the Met Gala this May. He’s also releasing a movie with Denzel Washington, “Highest 2 Lowest,” soon. It is coming out in early summer.
