Four people hospitalised after a serious crash closed the A12 northbound for hours, causing major traffic delays.

The accident was on the northbound side, happening around 11:30 AM. The road closure caused bad traffic jams, and at first, they thought only one person got hurt badly. Turns out, it was actually four people that needed hospital help.
Emergency crews went to the scene and kept the road closed until about 3:15 PM. Only one vehicle was involved; a driver and three passengers occupied this vehicle.
Police said more people were hurt than first thought. A man in his 60s broke his arm, and they took him to the hospital. The driver and two others had minor injuries, and they also went to the hospital.
The ambulance service got the call before 11:30 AM about the crash on the A12 northbound, near junction 22. Five ambulances rushed to the scene, and one ambulance officer also went. They transported four patients, all going to Broomfield Hospital for care.
