A young boy is in police custody now; he is just twelve years old. Police arrested him after an incident at a school involving a large knife.

It happened at Reddish Vale High around 3:10 PM on Monday. People there saw a boy with a blade at the school in Stockport.

Someone recorded a video showing a boy holding a knife. Other students asked him questions about the knife, wondering why he had it.

Parents are very worried about this, with some calling the situation ‘terrifying.’ They might not send kids to school because they want to know kids are safe. A similar thing happened last week when someone threatened a student outside the school, and now, parents feel very uneasy.

One mom spoke about her son’s experience; he called her from after-school care, saying kids waited at the theatre for their parents. The worried mom will keep her son home and might even find a new school, as she believes the situation is truly frightening.

Another mother shared the video online, but the school asked her to take it down. She refused because parents deserve to know, and she wants everyone to see that this impacts safety. Fortunately, police received a report from Reddish Vale Road about a person seen with a knife, and no one suffered serious injuries.
