- In your lessons, you have been looking at The Journey by Aaron Becker and using this as inspiration to write your own story. On the attached PDF, there are a number of different activities along with a link to a YouTube video that shows you the book. You need to complete 3 activities per week which is equivalent to the number of writing lessons you have. Each activity should take around 1-2 hours to complete properly.
- You will listen to the story of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens by following this link. Episodes 1, 2 and 3 comprise of your first lesson. Episodes 4, 5 and 6 comprise of your second lesson and Episode 7, 8 and 9 comprise of your third lesson. Then you will complete the 5 Oak Academy lessons.

Knowing PLASTICS: Watch the Plastics video clip in preparation for future (Year 7) projects. Afterwards, on paper draw up a chart of the two families of plastics (Thermoplastics/Thermosetting Plastics) and try to find examples on-line. Either download pictures or sketch examples. Don’t forget to label them.
