A masked man robbed a shop on Antrim Road, Belfast, threatening staff with a knife before fleeing with cash and a phone.

On Sunday evening, around 7 PM, trouble started. A masked man went into a store on Antrim Road wearing dark clothes. He threatened someone who worked there with a knife and asked for money.
The man then ran away quickly after taking cash from the register and stealing a mobile phone. Thankfully, nobody got hurt physically, but the staff felt really upset; it was a frightening experience.
Police caught a suspect later, a 20-year-old man, in Castleton Gardens. Cops arrested him for the robbery.
A detective said the man wore dark clothes and a mask and went into the store with a knife, demanding money from the staff. The suspect ran off with cash and a phone. The detective noted the employee’s fear.
