Road work may cause delays in Bridlington. The council invests £1.6 million to fix roads. They started the project last September. Workers already fixed many roads, including Scarborough Road roundabout, Cliff Road, Sandsacre Road, and Clarence Road. Albert Street, St Stephen Road, and more roads are done.

They will fix North Road soon, starting after cable work. The last part focuses on Flamborough Road. They will resurface the road and parking.

Work starts March 10 and lasts three weeks. There are three parts to this final phase, beginning at Promenade/Trinity Road and ending near The Seabirds pub.

Work hours are 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, to limit traffic problems. Side roads near Flamborough Road will close to help control traffic during work. Detours will be clearly marked. Drivers should use other routes when they can to avoid further delays on this road.

Footpaths also get fixed. They’ll seal paths on Sandsacre Road, Clarence Road, Travis Street, St Stephen Road, St Thomas Road, and St Andrew Road. This sealing extends the life of the surfaces. Thomas Bow does the work for the council.
