We come towards the end of a busy term. As I write, I can hear groups of children rehearsing for the Christmas Concert on Thursday evening. As ever, there will be something for everybody – from comedy to poetry and teardropping solo singing to rock group performances. I always look forward to the Christmas Concert…something about it gives the feeling that Christmas has properly started. Doors open at 6.30 p.m. for mulled wine, mince pies and other refreshements. Finally, as we come towards the end of the calendar year, I would like to take the opportunity to thank the whole school community for their unbeatable support. I am very thankful for the way you continue to back me and my colleagues and would like to wish you all a Happy Christmas and a restful time together over the festive break. See you all in 2014, I look forward to what next year will bring to our school community.
